Nihari Dish
Although nihari is best known as a traditional food from the Indian subcontinent, its importance in Pakistani cuisine cannot be overstated. Given how frequently it is served in the country's most populous cities, this delectable main dish strikes a balance between nourishing and appealing.
Nihari consists of tender beef shanks in a stew thickened with durum whole wheat flour (atta). This Pakistani beef stew is delicious in any form, but the most decadent versions incorporate buttery bone marrow into the stew.
